About Tank Sludge Technologies

Tank Sludge Technologies was established to transform how industrial tanks are cleaned and maintained.
Traditional cleaning requires manual entry, long shutdowns, and expensive disposal of sludge and contaminated oil.
Our ultrasonic systems replace those outdated methods with a fully engineered, remote operated process that liquefies sludge, separates contaminants, and recovers reusable oil in a fraction of the time.

Our Mission

To deliver safe, sustainable, and high-performance tank cleaning and recovery systems that reduce cost, risk, and environmental impact.

No confined-space entry

Rapid project turnaround

High oil recovery yield

Reduced waste volume

Environmentally responsible operations

Ultrasonic Sludge Fluidisation

Our proprietary ultrasonic process uses high-frequency acoustic energy to break down waxes, asphaltenes, and sedimented solids in oil and fuel storage tanks. The sludge is converted into a pumpable fluid that can be transferred for separation and recovery.

Ultrasonic Oil–Water Separation

Our separation units apply the same acoustic energy principles to treat contaminated oils and waste emulsions.
The process rapidly breaks down stabilising agents and releases trapped water, allowing clean oil and water phases to form without extended settling or chemical additives.

How it works

Number 1

Pre-Heating Phase

The contaminated oil is gently heated to the optimum process temperature.

Number 2

Ultrasonic Cavitation

High-frequency sound waves disrupt the emulsion structure, breaking stabilising agents.

Number 3

Rapid Separation

Oil and water quickly form clear layers, ready for recovery or reuse.

Process Overview

Each stage of the process is carefully controlled to optimise cavitation, enhance separation efficiency, and deliver reliable performance.

Number 1

Step 1:

Pre-condition and heat the sludge or emulsion.

Number 2

Step 2:

Apply ultrasonic energy to create controlled cavitation.

Number 3

Step 3:

Liquefy sludge and destabilise emulsions.

Number 3

Step 4:

Pump and recirculate for separation.

Number 3

Step 5:

Recover oil, discharge clean water, and manage solids safely.
